Senior Technical Architect at Edward Jones in Remote
At Edward Jones we are developing an ODS and Master Data Management (MDM/RDM) platform to support our growing business with a strategic vision for future business. As part of the Operational Data Portfolio Team, you will be challenged daily to find innovative solutions to improve the speed and consumption of our information. This will also bring you into contact with a diverse array of stakeholders ranging from IT to our front line business organizations, and you will be working on defining the MDM/RDM solution architecture which establishes the foundational data layer for Edward Jones.What you'll do:
o You will lead the solution architecture for the MDM/RDM teams. We will be looking to master Client, Account, Security and Reference data using Informatica MDM o Work with enterprise architecture and portfolio architects to define and obtain consensus of the designed architecture o Work with the team to build out the MDM data quality and data load rules in Informatica MDM. o Help team to build out ETL framework for data ingress, develop and extend the data model and deliver performant code and tuned database. o Hands on development lead to build out API framework o Actively pursues pure research across multiple layers and or disciplines; assists in the deployment of new technologies not previously in use at Edward Jones. o Must apply architecture principles across multiple layers to solve business or technical problems o Keeps abreast of current developments and trends in multiple areas of expertise o Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments o Strong Analytical and technical skills are required o Good communication and presentation skills to be able to interact with business stakeholders o Work closely with support teams, systems and business leads to promote technical and functional upgrades, enhancements and best practices/industry standards o Focus on continuous improvement to drive a seamless, modernized associate/user experience o Participate in the analysis, design, develop, testing, and implementation activities within the areas of responsibility o Assist, mentor and train other team members o Work closely with support teams and support manager to address incidents and problem queues, ensuring proper prioritization At Edward Jones, we value and respect our associates and their contributions, and we recognize individual efforts through a rewards program that promotes a long-term career, financial security and well-learn more about our total compensation approach, which in addition to base salary, typically includes benefits, bonuses and profit sharing. $216,079Position Requirements o Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering or Management Information Technology preferred or related work experience o Minimum 15 years of experience across multiple technology areas. Must have international experience. o Must be able to design and develop IT architecture solutions to support firm business strategies. o Must be able to solve technical challenges in critical situations that require immediate resolution. o Researches requirements to determine system feasibility, costs, business benefits, or functional requirements. o Proficient in leading IS problem solving o Expert in our system and business operations o Modern knowledge across multiple IS disciplines including but not limited to Network, Mainframes, Storage, relational databases, and Web development. o Specific modern knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, Standard IBM products (Z/OS, CICS and DB2), Standard Microsoft products (Vista, XP, Exchange, Office, Outlook), J2EE, Java, Oracle and Linux. o Participates in discovering talent both organically and externally o Ability to influence all levels in a matrixed organization o Establish and maintain effective relationships across departments, business areas, and vendors. Excellent interpersonal skills. Seen as credible and trustworthy. o Ability to multi-task and participate in multiple large and complex efforts or projects. o Ensure prudent use of the firm's financial resources o Knowledge of brokerage or financial company processes o Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness in work o Embraces change and consider different approaches to issues o Takes personal responsibility to improve processes and systems. o Strong understanding of project management conceptsPreferred:

Salary Range:
$150K -- $250K
