Software Engineer I, Cloud
Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications. Supports and/or installs software applications/operating systems. Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software. Responsibilities o Analyzes and designs specific software module in accordance with project goals. o Analyzes and prepares requirements for specific module of software system design, implementation, modification, or utilization. o Writes software code. Performs analysis of performance of application and modifies software as required. o Designs unit, integrated, and subsystem test processes and procedures. o Prepares and writes detailed, specific documentation regarding design requirements, coding, testing, and debugging of software applications. o Maintains existing software systems through revisions and documentation. o Under general supervision and following established guidelines, performs professional software engineering assignments requiring full use and application of computer software systems principles, theories, and concepts. o Has full knowledge of one or more of the following:
database applications, graphics applications, real-time systems, numeric analysis, networks, modeling, simulations, systems management, expert systems and system tests. Experience Required Bachelor's Degree Computer science, science or engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Technical Expertise:
Java, Javascript, C++/Object-oriented programming, software architecture, networking, and distributed systems, and/or UNIX/NT development. o Knowledge of software engineering concepts, principles, and languages applicable to the product line supporting. o General knowledge of computer aided software engineering principle and systems/ o Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. o Analytical skills to effectively review and analyze technical problems. o Knowledge of structure analysis techniques. o Information Security and Data Privacy fundamentals
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Software DevelopmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
