Architecture/Engineering (A/E) Services, Defense Program, Design/Build, Classified, and Environmental. Job Summary Functions as a technical specialist or in a lead role. With minimal supervision, applies advanced engineering techniques and analyses for problems and methods. Expands knowledge and skill set in area of discipline. May start to expand knowledge in other disciplines and/or functional areas. Key Responsibilities Project Discipline Lead o Reviews lower-level engineering work or assignments for accuracy, clarity, and coordination. o Collaborates with clients, subcontractors, end users and design assist subcontractors as the B&V electrical representative. o Briefs stakeholders on technical aspects of multi-facility power systems project development and execution. o Actively coordinates with all other internal/external team members on complex projects. o Provides hands-on mentorship to discipline and interdisciplinary team members. o Manages assigned budgets, schedules, and quality requirements. Establishes work plan for projects. o Collaborate with team/client stakeholders (including high-ranking military officials) on conceptual designs, design reviews, etc. o Responsible for overseeing collection, assimilation, and management of data for engineering work. o Serves as the responsible engineer in charge for a project. Engineering Production o Prepares a variety of complex engineering deliverables including design drawings, specifications, calculations, and design analysis for low and medium voltage power systems, grounding, lightning protection, lighting, and telecommunications. o Performs complex research and develops recommendations for equipment and/or materials selection. o Create concept and detailed power systems designs for complex projects or programs; produces design calculations, drawings, specifications, and design analysis documents o Plans and conducts independent evaluation, selection and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria. o Coordinate with a BIM team for drawing production; redline documents within Bluebeam. o Lead writing for programming documentation throughout execution. Other Duties as Assigned o Provides guidance and direction on department design guides, standards, systems, applicable engineering codes and Black and Veatch policies. o Assists in developing, maintaining and updating quality/engineering standards. o May provide support to business development or pursuit activities. o Travel to client review meetings and site visits as needed Management Responsibilities Preferred Qualifications Assigned to projects for U.S. Government Agency/Department clients. Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen. Technical expertise to include NEC, IEEE, UFC, and UFGS knowledge for producing electrical designs, understanding codes, and providing coordination for the unfractured and equipment of buildings and facilities. Technical expertise to include the following:
o Low & medium voltage & generation. o Electrical studies and analysis. o Lighting Design. o Grounding and lightning protection. o Design-bid-build and Design-Build contract types Other qualifications include:
o Experience working for an entity of the Federal government; familiarity with the applicable unified facilities guide specifications and criteria, ability to use SpecsIntact or Dr. Checks o Professional engineering license o Master's degree in electrical engineering with a power emphasis or demonstrated experience in power system design. Minimum Qualifications As required by Executive Order 14042, associated federal safety protocols for federal contractors that were issued on September 24, 2021, require covered contractors and subcontractors who work with the federal government to ensure that their employees are fully vaccinated for COVID-19 by an FDA approved or authorized COVID-19 vaccine or approved for a medical or religious accommodation. Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing. Minimum of 11 years related work experience. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following:

Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
