As a Data Science Analyst within the Adtalem Data Science and Applied AI group, you will be involved in leading analytical experiments and implementations in a methodical manner. You will regularly develop and test next-generation ML models and Applied AI products to help drive student learning, engagement, and success at Adtalem. You'll also apply cloud-based data infrastructure, cutting-edge machine learning techniques, and other business intelligence tools to impact results in higher education industry. Responsibilities oBuilding machine learning and forecast models. Working with DevOps and release engineers to deploy model pipelines in our cloud-based data and analytic platform. oProcessing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used in ML models and Applied AI products. oCreating and testing new actionable predictive variables from all available data sources. oBuilding and optimizing the next generation Applied AI products to support personalized student learnings. oDesigning, testing, and analyzing experiments to evaluate effectiveness of new products and initiatives. oPerforming complex analysis and presenting results in a clear manner and for various audiences. Qualifications oMasters or Ph.D. degree in Statistics, Data Science, Operation Research, Economics, Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or other Quantitative Fields. oTwo (2) plus years of experience preparing large data sets, performing quantitative analysis, developing predictive models, and presenting results. oExcellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as Regressions, Gradient Boosting, Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning, etc. oExperience deploying multiple machine learning pipelines (including data ingestion; data prep, training, and testing; and web service). oExperience with common data science languages and statistical software and their associated libraries, toolkits, or packages (Python preferred). oExperience with structured or unstructured database query language (SQL, Big Query, NoSQL). oProficient with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau. oExperience with Git or other code repository and deployment software such as Jenkins. oData-oriented and detailed-oriented. oGreat communication skills. oAbility to work well within and across teams. oProblem solver and strong sense of ownership. oSound sense of business strategy. Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Data Science & Machine LearningEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
