In this principal level, high-visibility position, you will work directly with service teams such as Amazon HealthLake, Amazon Personalize, AWS DeepRacer, and Amazon Panorama to wrestle with some of our toughest problems and design unique solutions centered around AI and ML.
As the Principal UX leader, you will be directly responsible for the complete breadth of released services and new developments within the organization.
You will obsess over customers as you coordinate and collaborate with product owners, designers, and engineers to ensure the consistent application of your design strategy, before launching state-of-the-art experiences that achieve business goals with usable and accessible product experiences.
Your broad experience as a designer will be critical to your success, but you will also come prepared to learn and grow your expertise in new areas with truly unique customer challenges.

Key job responsibilitiesThe ideal candidate will influence multiple service teams to deliver human-centered design solutions that address complex problems in the simplest possible ways.
To do this, they will need to develop a detailed understanding of the present promise and future possibilities offered by AI and ML as they work with technical and business stakeholders of all levels to discover, define, and understand multiple customer archetypes and their associated behaviors.
The candidate's passion for learning will enable them to operate across a range of existing and emerging product categories and develop a consistent design strategy to guide teams in delivering exceptional experiences to an international audience of AWS 'builders' (i.

developers who use AWS services).
Specifically, this candidate will:
Develop a deep understanding of our AI/ML Services portfolio, with a heavy emphasis on the associated customer personas and unique advantages each service providesEstablish and communicate a clear strategic vision that encompasses maximal accessibility, effortless usability, and and exceptional bar for quality across the entire portfolio of products and servicesDrive consistency in the ways that usability is evaluated, measured, reported, and addressed to achieve and maintain a high bar for our customer experiencesBuild the right auditing mechanisms to ensure that cross-functional teams of product managers, designers, and engineers are delivering products that customers love at launchAnalyze the impact of product changes over time to prove the long-term effectiveness of iterative design decisions, new features, and ongoing enhancements to the customer experienceA day in the lifeYour days are filed with variety, as you focus on influencing cross-functional teams to deliver and maintain world-class customer experiences with AI and ML at their core.
You might be interacting with customers and stakeholders by conducting exploratory discovery sessions, joining a call to better understand a particular customer's challenges, exploring opportunities to improve an experience based on insights identified by our researchers, meeting with technical experts to iterate on a new interaction design you sketched out, reviewing and approving product experiences that are ready to launch, or evaluating the eventual outcome of a launched product to prioritize future enhancements.
About the teamThe AWS AI Vertical Services team makes machine learning more accessible to developers without machine learning experience, approachable to those looking for fun, engaging ways to get started, and applicable to our customers' practical business needs.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
