Pacific Autism Center for Education, PACE, is a nonprofit agency located in Santa Clara, CA which provides high quality programs for individuals with autism and associated developmental disabilities.

We are currently searching for an on-site Part Time Accounting Assistant (15-20 hours per week) who will have primary responsibility for processing accounts payable, preparing account and bank reconciliations and assisting with payroll and month end close.
Hours are on-site, Monday - Friday 8:
30am - 11:
30am (you may occasionally work more hours for time sensitive projects.
) Job Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
Process accounts payable in a timely and accurate manner.
Prepare account reconciliations as needed.
Submit journal entries for payroll Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for multiple accounts.
Assist with month end close.
Provide support for various Agency audits.
General office duties including data entry, filing, etc.
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required, Associates degree or higher preferred.
Must have at least three years experience working in QuickBooks will be asked to demonstrate knowledge.
Experience with Paycom strongly desired Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
Strong problem solving abilities and attention to detail is a must.
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work with a diverse workforce.
Organizational skills and reliability are a must.
Must be both a self-starter and a team player.
