As Manager - Facility Engineering, you will be the technical lead for all data center engineering operations at SC1, our data center at 2220 De La Cruz Blvd, and be responsible for the direct supervision of the facility and data center engineers.
You'll report directly to the Data Center Manager and oversee an electrical team and a mechanical team, each comprised of a General Foreman, a Foreman and six to seven Technicians.
You'll also be responsible for the review/approval/implementation of SOPs/MOPs/EOPs for the site and the proper implementation and training of these procedures.
To meet the basic qualification for this role, you will have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.
In addition, to be a good fit for the Manager - Facility Engineering opportunity, you will have:

years of related facility management experience in data center operations (or related electrical or mechanical engineering field) managing or leading data center operations teams in a large-scale mission-critical environment.
Solid and proven experience in the construction, commissioning, acceptance and operation of mission-critical systems, including state-of-the-art electrical distribution systems, static and rotary UPS, HVAC systems, chillers, emergency standby generation, fire alarm/suppression and monitoring systems.
Strong understanding of infrastructure redundancy configurations and equipment and their risks (N+1, 2N, ATS/ STS, Failover Scenarios).
Experience writing MOPs and a demonstrated ability to respond effectively to issues that arise.
Proficiency in reading/understanding MEP drawings.
