You'll be responsible for bringing groundbreaking wireless connectivity to the world through Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LTE, 5G and GPS, with multi-vendor technology.
You'll collaborate with innovative product teams, take up challenges on sophisticated issues, and design, develop, and patent the next generation of our innovative connectivity technologies.
This role requires cross collaboration across departments to help craft wireless solutions that elevate the customer experience with Apple products and services.

If you join us, you'll help build world-renowned wireless systems so seamlessly that they almost feel like magic! Key Qualifications 12 to 14 years of experience in Enterprise wireless networking with IEEE 802.
11 standards, encryption, WIDS, rogue detection, 802.
1x, RADIUS, EAP-TLS, wireless client chipset/driver, RF engineering for wireless planning, along with multi-vendor technologies including Cisco, Aruba Networks controller, AOS8, Aruba I/AP, Aruba Airwave, Mist wireless, Meraki wireless, Aruba ClearPass, Cisco AerOS, IOS-XE, Cisco DNAC, Mobility-Anchor, and Splunk Experience in operating and leading a large-scale network infrastructure using your wireless Networking experience.
Experience with various wireless tools such as Spectrum Analyzer, Protocol Analyzer, and Site Survey Tools and qualified in automation, tooling, and scripting (Ansible and python preferred).
Proven understanding of TCP/IP (both IPv4/IPv6), routing, and switching.
Experience with wireless supporting voice and video application Driving strategic projects that scale and are highly available Strong analytical and organizational skills along with a professional demeanor.
Description The ideal individual will work in a dynamic team environment and be responsible for fixing, solutioning, designing, and implementing infrastructure in the campus enterprise environment, including IEEE 802.
11 Standards, encryption, 802.
1x, RADIUS, EAP-TLS and handling multi-vendor wireless products in supporting both our Corporate and development centers.
This engineer should be a strong technical leader who can help the teams drive a change from tactical to strategic problem & service mgmt approach in our group, helping to improve the entire WiFi service health & user experience, bringing a different mindset that will help change how we operate & remediate problems across the whole system, partnering/influencing across the regions, deep technical knowledge and leads with creating a thoughtful employee experience.
Besides a profoundly technical role, this position also requires strong communication skills and enjoy the dynamic nature of Apple's environment.
Education & Experience College degree (BA or BS) or equivalent work experience.
Additional Requirements CCIE or equivalent certifications in Wireless Extensive knowledge of at least two to three vendor CLI of IOS-XE, EOS, AEROS, AOS, are required Ability to script using Ansible, Python, and Shell a plus Recommended Skills Analytical Anchoring Ansible Automation Cisco Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
