The interim IT PMO Director operates under the general direction of the AVP of IT Services and CIO and provides oversight for a variety of projects within IT Services to successfully achieve the desired outcomes of the project. This position collaborates with other IT Services directors, staff, campus support staff, and vendor resources to resource project needs. The IT Project Director utilizes project management methodologies to direct project activities and communications including preparation of project documentation (e.g. project charter, work breakdowns, project schedules, resource plans, status reports, communication plans, test plans, risk registers, issues logs, etc.) and project presentations to internal ITS and external audiences.
Provides project management for assigned IT projects including preparation of project charters, work breakdowns, schedules, status reports, communication plans, issues and risk logs, presentation documents, and other associated documentation.
Ensures project timelines are met and escalation paths are used when necessary to notify appropriate stakeholders of timeline concerns.
Implements IT policies through project management and implementation.
Recommends modifications to IT policies, and operational processes.
Communicates assignments of project tasks, roles, and responsibilities to project team members and follows-up on status of these assignments for inclusion in reporting.
Facilitates project status, design, and review meetings with project team members.
Provides formal project status reporting to executive management in various modes, styles and reporting venues including reports, presentations in meetings, including recorded meetings, graphs, and measures of progress.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong combination of skills in strategic planning, analytical and holistic problem-solving, effective communication and coordination
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated knowledge of project management methodologies and tools including MS Project
Working knowledge of effective meeting facilitation processes and tools
Collaborative skills to work effectively with faculty, staff and senior administrators in areas other than technology to develop and implement appropriate uses of technology
Ability to manage large scale projects, keep projects on schedule and on budget
Ability to understand complex challenges and lead teams of technologists to deploy appropriate technological solutions that meet campus vision and mission
Ability to communicate effectively with others at various levels of the campus and external organizations
Ability to resolve problems quickly and determine the root cause of problems
Ability to understand and communicate Cisco technologies is required
Ability to analyze and organize project tasks, dependencies, and resources required to achieve desired outcomes
Ability to transform information into formal project documentation
Ability to interpret campus and IT policies.
Ability to efficiently plan and schedule meetings with required participants
Ability to use available meeting, calendaring and collaboration tools
Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience
At least 5 years experience managing large projects including projects with resources from other departments and vendors
Experience in project management required including implementation and maintenance of large-scale organization-wide uses of technology
Experience with Cisco networks, telecommunications, and data center operations.
Experience with WebExEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
