Technical Consulting Manager/Tempe, AZ
Responsible for operational performance of assigned customer's Backup infrastructure. Serve as the lead role for Hitachis onsite Managed Backup Services team. Ensure that operational processes are followed at all times and that Hitachis MSS Delivery Team consistently meets or exceeds the Service Level Agreements (SLAs) that have been negotiated with the client. Implement ITIL service framework and best practices including but not limited to Incident Management, Request Management, Change Management, Problem Management and continuous service improvements. Ensure audit compliance of both internal and external audit requirements, test execution and reporting. Employ a solid understanding of the technical, communications, and process functions to execute day-to-day management of the enterprise Backup environment. Employ expertise and experience managing projects in service-based environments. Manage the delivery team that is charged with handling the day-to-day operations of the Backup infrastructure for which Hitachi holds overall responsibility; Lead the creation and establishment of policies, procedures and practices to efficiently manage the Backup infrastructure; Ensure compliance with established policies, procedures and practices as defined by Hitachi for the management of Backup infrastructure. Manage communications with overseas support and Hitachi 24x7 delivery teams. Effectively analyze and report actual to contracted Service Level performance levels. Analyze operations for on-going continuous improvement. May telecommute.
Requires: Employer will accept Bachelors (or equivalent) degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field and 5 year(s) of work experience in job offered or 5 year(s) of work experience in a computer-related occupation. In lieu of Bachelors degree, will accept an additional 2 years experience in job offered or computer-related occupation. May telecommute.
