Windows/C++ Software Engineer - Multi-Threading, Mac, Desktop Applications
We have an immediate contract opportunity with a large F500 client in the Santa Clara, CA area.
The Sr. Software Engineer will develop complex Software-As-A-Service (SaaS) production software, specifically client applications on the Windows platform. The role requires strong analytical skills, unwavering commitment to quality, a collaborative work ethic, and cutting-edge technical skills. This position will be responsible for projects that are complex, challenging and exciting.
You will be part of a team in an agile/lean environment, and by working closely with your team members, developers, architects and other key stakeholders, you will implement functionality critical to our business success.
Qualifications and Requirements
o BS degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
o Minimum of 6 years' directly related work experience (or 4 years with an MS degree)
o Expertise in C++ and OOAD principles/methodologies
o Expertise in Windows development and frameworks
o Experience with Mac development is also highly desired
o Expertise in multi-threaded programming
o Strong knowledge of internet technologies and web services
o Experience with mobile device application development highly desired
o Solid understanding of configuration management and build tools
o Experience and understanding of project management methodologies, including agile/scrum
o Expertise implementing, unit testing, debugging and integrating code of moderate complexity
o Experience mentoring/leading an engineering team through a technical project
o Experience helping others to design, write, conduct, and direct the development of tests
o Track record of success in software development project estimation/agreed tolerances, engineering tools, and concepts
o Demonstrated technical leadership skills and ability to transfer knowledge effectively

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
