Duties: Develop alpha-level prototypes on a variety of platforms, including Windows 8 and RT, Android, iOS, and Linux. Design overall approach and architecture, write and debug code, and perform product testing and validation. Document research results, system design, tradeoffs, and design rationale. Present findings and working code to management and other technical groups within McAfee. Work with other development groups to integrate the prototype code into production.
Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, followed by 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation.
Experience must include:
1. C and C++;
2. Java, Objective-C, Python, HTML, or Javascript;
3. SQL or no-sql environments;
4. Security concepts;
5. Software development on Linux, Windows, Android or iOS;
6. OS internals;
7. Virtualization technologies;
8. Full-stack development, including application development and kernel programming.
