Our client is the worlds leading computer components manufacturer seeking a candidate to work with a Lead Engineer to design and develop web applications and infrastructure components.
Job functions:
Collaborate with high energy, agile, cross-functional team Work with outside data sources and API's Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
Qualifications:
BS/MS in Computer Science or Engineering 5
years of software development experience 5
years of web services development experience Experience in Java, Spring Framework, Databases and RESTful web services Experience in Scala, Distributed Systems, Messaging and Concurrency a strong plus Solid understanding of modern web application architecture and design Deep knowledge of and proficiency with their programming language and tools of choice Experience setting up and maintaining AWS instances Experience with third-party libraries and APIs Experience in agile software development methodologies including Scrum and TDD
