Reporting directly to the Vice President, Corporate Development and Strategy, this person will be an integral member of the team in developing and delivering on the strategic plans for one of Agilent's fastest growing and most dynamic business.The primary focus of the position is to support the VP Strategy & Business Development, Agilent Diagnostics and Genomics Group (DGG) in critical strategic projects. The role helps drive strategic initiatives and developing final recommendations and presentations for the DGG management team, and supports the creation of presentation to the Executive Staff. Projects are often carried out in close collaboration with the functional managers / general managers for the DGG divisionsSpecific responsibilities include:
Managing company-wide and business specific strategic planning activities with input from key stakeholders such as senior group management, functional managers and customers. Ensure that functional strategies are in alignment with the corporate strategy. Leading key strategic projects covering topics such as portfolio optimization, regional growth initiatives, capacity expansion and new market opportunities assessment Develop business cases for organic and inorganic (M&A) investment decisions Market and competitor analysis, including collaborations with other key business partners (marketing, field, finance, corporate functions) to understand and clearly communicate Agilent's results and outlook in the context of our markets, customers and competitors. M&A coverage throughout the deal continuum from initial research to validation and strategic fit assessment to concept review material development to be presented to the CEO staff Act as strategy program office for execution of key strategic initiatives to support the functional managers in securing progress and goal fulfillment Development of material and review of functional material for management team and board meetings Provide internal consulting and support business with well proven methodologies and project management Preparing and driving the annual strategic business planning process for DGG Education:
Master's degree (technical / engineering / life sciences), preferably Bachelor's and an MBA or equivalent combination of education and experience.Professional
Experience:

years top-tier management consultant experience, working with strategic processes at the highest levels. Experience working with sales oriented / commercial business problems and high-tech/ Medical devices /healthcare industries. Demonstrate a high degree of commercial understanding and familiar operating in matrix organizations Preferably experience with the diagnostics and life sciences either directly or as a consultant. Documented capabilities within development of management communication material. Combine experience that demonstrates a good technical understanding with business acumen.Personal characteristics:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
