We are seeking Senior IT manager to lead IT Applications Development team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and leading a team of engineers in the design, development and deployment of cloud applications to automate and integrate a wide range of internal processes on the ServiceNow platform. This role will require you to interface with various internal departments, understand their business needs and deliver highly reliable and easy to use solutions that enhance business efficiency. The successful candidate will have an established background in developing mission critical software solutions, a strong technical ability, excellent project management and communication skills, and a motivation to achieve results in a fast pace environment.
Duties &
Responsibilities:
Duties include managing application development activities in a fast pace environment.
Responsible for implementing ServiceNow IT products footprint internally to support various IT functions.
Responsible for interacting with product engineering and product support team for new features and platform upgrades.
Responsible for the overall systems development life cycle for product implementation as well as custom built web applications on ServiceNow platform.
Management and execution against project plans and delivery commitments.
Drive IT applications roadmap and work across organizational boundaries to successfully deliver projects.
Work closely with various IT groups to understand internal business requirements as well as architecture/design.
Exercise appropriate influence to ensure commitment to customers and deliverable quality products.
Manage the day-to-day activities of the development team within an Agile/Scrum environment.
Management of departmental resource, staffing, mentoring, and enhancing & maintaining a best-of-class application development team.
Skills &
Experience:

years of IT application development experience in information technology in a global organization.
8
years of experience building and managing application development team delivering high quality enterprise ready software.
Solid understanding of software design, development, testing, and problem solving.
Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
A strong track record of project delivery for large, cross-functional, projects.
Experience with Cloud Application Development Platforms - Knowledge of ServiceNow platform is a big plus.
Knowledge of web development frameworks using Scripting languages - especially JavaScript is an advantage.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.
Proven ability to hire top talent and build out winning team.
Experience in capacity planning, vendor resource management to scalable model to support IT roadmap.
Experience working with offshore delivery/operations team.
Knowledge of web development frameworks, integration platform, source code control systems.
Experience leading development activities on IT Service Management application is preferred.
B.S or M.S in Computer Science or equivalent.
