The Alexa Automotive UX Design team is seeking a motivated UX Designer with experience designing multi-modal experiences on voice and screen to help take our product to the next level.
This role will define and drive multimodal interfaces for vehicle-specific Alexa experiences.

We seek a collaborator, as this role will be working side by side with product managers, engineers, and UX researchers to inform your designs and bring them to life.
A pragmatic approach and translation of business needs into new-to-the-world, customer-focused Alexa experiences are key to success.
And most importantly, this role must conceptualize spoken and multimodal experiences in the abstract, communicate them effectively to the larger team, and drive solid design deliverables.
Responsibilities will expand upon many aspects of UX Design, including information architecture, UX flows, VUI, GUI.
This role will work closely with a team of rock star Designers to bring Alexa into to the automotive experience.
Key
Responsibilities:
Produce user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and rigorous user interface specifications.
Draw on depth of experience to work with UX research and testing efforts as needed Effectively communicate concepts of spoken interaction design in daily iterations with product managers, engineers, and testers Drive innovation into their designs from customer insights, product analytics, and competitive intelligence Get quick feedback on designs through reviews and leverage user research for ideation and concept refinement.
Collaborate with a team of rock star Designers, Researchers, and Design Technologists in Auto and beyond.
Develop and maintain detailed VUI and GUI specifications Present design work to internal team and external teams for review and feedback.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
