Senior User Researcher - Alexa Automotive

The Amazon Alexa Automotive team seeks an innovative and highly motivated Senior User Researcher to define the future of voice assistants in vehicles and on the go.
Our mission is to promote voice as the primary interface while driving, making it easier to navigate, and stay connected and entertained while remaining focused on the road.
You will be responsible for driving a quantitative user research strategy and implementing it for the Alexa Auto team at Amazon.
You will work with available guidelines from governing bodies need to invent new metrics for voice-first multi-modal interfaces in vehicles, with an eye toward expanding the our research practice.
You have a deep understanding of user quantifying research insights and best practices for validating levels of engagement, usability and distraction, and apply a pragmatic yet nimble approach that balances the pace of innovation in an agile product team and the rigor required to quantify learnings.
You will also find time to zoom out and ask the big questions that change the course of programs involved with our research team, or inspire us to start entirely new ones.
You will work closely with a cross-section of disciplines to scope, execute, and apply research studies to enact changes based on findings.
You will have access to sophisticated tools and data gathered from a driving context.
You'll instill an understanding of our scientific approach to research, translating deep knowledge of your discipline, making work accessible and the value clear.
You are highly collaborative, with a proven track record of running studies in a tightly controlled environment, and extracting learning from large amounts of data.
You can work with minimal direction and you're capable of working quickly while maintaining a quality bar for our outputs.
You can work on overlapping projects and are good are prioritizing your efforts and organizing yourself.
You will have access to sophisticated tools and data gathered from a driving context.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
