Applied Materials' is looking to recruit an outstanding engineer to support its computational modeling group specializing in plasma physics simulations.
In this role, you will use state-of-the-art simulation tools to simulate the complex multi-species plasma environment in Applied Materials' products and work closely with engineers across multiple business units to develop new solutions to difficult problems.
You will work closely with design and process engineers to enhance existing products as well as play a key role in the development of next-generation chambers and processes.
Required QualificationsPhD (or MS
4 years experience) in Mechanical/Electrical/Aerospace/Chemical Engineering or related field specializing in plasma physicsExperience withdeveloping or using commercial/academic computational plasma modeling tools (e.
g.
HPEM, CFD-ACE, VizGlow, Comsol, VSim)chemical kineticsfluid flow phenomenaA technical mindset with great attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDesirable QualificationsExperience with magnetostatics simulations (e.
