This job will be part of the Worldwide Sales / Field Operations Group, which is responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships to sustain Keysight's leadership in the market. Engineers and scientists in more than 14,000 companies use Keysight offerings to research, design, develop, manufacture, install, and maintain electronic components, devices, subsystems and systems. And all of them interface with Keysight's global network of direct sales, support, and indirect channel partners.
Job Description
Solution Engineer is responsible to deliver technical expertise for solution implementation with customer based on Keysight products and services. Involved in various phases of the sales process including customer requirements analysis, feature-by-feature demonstrations, benchmarks, competitive positioning, and implementation/execution, generally allocated by project and engineering services. Understanding customer s problem, recommend solutions to meet their needs, and ensures customer satisfaction. Involve in integrating Keysight products and services (at the system/solutions level) into customer s environment. Prepares detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer products, applications and/or solutions. Also ensures Keysight system solution and platform is functioning properly at the customer site on delivery and post-delivery.
This position is also responsible for:
Contributing toward achieving sales metrics for Keysight s wireless products.
Leading Keysight s customer engagements from a technical perspective.
Continuously learning new products, applications and technologies in areas of communication standards such 5GNR, LTE, 3G, 2G cellular technologies and IEEE WLAN and Bluetooth technologies.
Train customer to use Keysight solutions including network emulation solutions, spectrum analyzer, signal analyzers, signal sources and network analyzer for testing wireless communications devices transmitter and receiver characteristic.
Creating, maintaining and optimizing internal and customer test tools with some of these programming languages; .NET (C#, C+
or VB), Python, LabView or VEE.
Owning the technical solution development, demonstration, proposal, and delivery.
Teaming with sales professionals, divisions, and other disciplines to develop and win complex opportunities.
Becoming a resident expert for key customers developing strong relationships with customers and internal teammates.
Developing and building long term relationships and loyalty with customers while ensuring high customer satisfaction.
Creating demand for Keysight s products and services.
This position is compensated by 90% salary and 10% commission after candidate is ready with initial steep learning curve. It yields 100% target pay achievement at 100% of targeted sales and with higher commission rates once the sales target is exceeded. Compensation are subject to change based on business needs.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelors or Master Degree or University Degree in EE or Telecommunication or equivalent.
- No prior experience required; may have up to 2 years relevant experience.
