Planning Order Management Operating Manager

We have an exciting opportunity in Technology Order Fulfillment (TOF) as a Planning Order Management Operating Manager providing leadership for Sales Order revenue management and close operational partnership with our Semiconductor Infrastructure Solutions (SIS) Operations team located in Santa Clara. This role will provide leadership and manager direct reports in the areas of Demand Planning, Sales Order Management, Production Scheduling, and New Production Introduction (NPI) Program Management.
Key
Responsibilities:
Lead a team of Planning Order Managers responsible for production scheduling, order management of Sales Orders, and NPI program management for SIS business
Management oversight of Sales Orders to ensure customer shipments are on-time and in full
Manage priorities and Sales Order changes from multiple internal partners/customers and regions while engaging in a collaborative and professional manner
Act as primary Point of Contact for escalations involving production scheduling constraints
Engage with various levels of management when necessary to drive and gain alignment on critical decisions impacting Sales Orders and NPI schedules
Maintain team talent as domain experts in all areas of planning order management including future digital fulfillment tools
Drive team forward in adopting and growing digital tool skillsets such as Kinaxis Rapid Response, Oracle, Enovia/3DX
Lead supply chain programs/initiatives that drive Key Focus Areas in TOF such as:
Enable 7x7X, Supply Chain Resilience, Inventory Optimization, and Digital Fulfillment
Engage, collaborate, and influence decision making in a matrix environment that includes peers, partners, senior level management, and global extended teams
Preferred location for this position is Santa Clara but alternate location in CA could be considered depending on candidate experience and qualifications.
Job Qualifications
- Typically 5-10 years relevant work experience
- Bachelor s degree in business or technical area
- Knowledge and direct experience in manufacturing, planning, production scheduling and/or order management
- Working knowledge of ERP systems (preferred Oracle) and Shop Floor Control tools
- Prefer Kinaxis Rapid Response experience
- Experience managing supply chain-based programs/initiatives with increasing level of responsibility
- Proven ability to work in a team, gain alignment among teams, peers, partners, and management
- Proven ability to influence across organizational boundaries
